UKSolutions is the UK’s largest privately owned data centre operator and specialises in premier colocation space and IT infrastructure solutions.
UKSolutions was established as a data networking consultancy by managing director Daniel Lowe. It now owns and maintains two dedicated co-location facilities, managing a diverse multi carrier network, focusing on delivering unparalleled support through its experienced in-house technical teams.
It specialises in hosting premier data space with diverse connectivity options for clients of all sizes, elite security measures and exceptional technical support services. Located in Studley, Warwickshire, UKSolutions is an accomplished Tier IV aligned datacentre that offers quality service and infrastructure equal to and above many of the datacentres located in the congested London area.
Its first co-location facility ‘UKSolutions South’ was built and completed in 1998. After a decade of sustained success and to cater for the expanding business, it invested in a second site that opened in 2008 known as ‘UKSolutions North’. Both are located at the UKSolutions Studley campus.
UKSolutions has a broad range of customers, covering sectors from online gaming to luxury car brands. It is privately owned, not reliant on external investment and operates strategically independent of ‘anchor tenants’. It incorporates a blend of customers from various cross verticals, ranging from SME’s through to Enterprise.
Daniel LoweManaging DirectorDaniel Lowe has been involved in the Data Centre and Internet Service Provider industry for more than a decade. He is the founder and managing director of UKSolutions, which he started while studying for an Engineering degree at the University of Birmingham. After studying Mechanical Engineering he went onto commence a second degree course in Computer Science all whilst getting UKSolutions off the ground. He built the hosting business from scratch and has used his engineering expertise to develop many of the innovative designs that are present within the company's data centres. Daniel talks regularly at data centre and internet events, is vocal in matters of public policy and provides comment on industry wide Government consultations. He continues to work closely with a number of the key data centre bodies to develop and promote best practice within the industry. |

Thomas LoweDirector Finance, Quality & ComplianceThomas Lowe is a major shareholder in the business and joined the firm in 2009 on the back of 7 years working in the Defence Industry. Thomas manages the day-to-day business operations of human resource, finance and compliance. He also works closely with Daniel on developing and delivering overall corporate strategy. Thomas attended University College London and achieved MSc and BSc degrees. |
