The facility has been designed and built to offer high specification hosting using the very latest energy saving technologies and equipment. Where possible it uses fresh air, rather than refrigeration, to extract the heat from the cooling circuits which run through the data floors. The lack of windows to suites reduces solar gain, and increases security.

You can see the progress of the build which commenced 22nd October 2007 and is due to complete it's final tests in June 2008.

Generators 2 x 1MVA prime rated diesel generator systems at launch, upto 5 parallel (4+1 spare) in line with load requirements.
Generator Autonomy 115,000 litres fuel (1 week) with fuel supply agreements
